Ganpati Bappa Morya

Welcome to the Lights and celebrations amidst the welcome of the Greatest hindu God of Strength, Peace, Valour, Appetite and Values and Geniousity. Ganesh chaturthi has been by far the most relatively celebrated and sourced as the highest major gathering Festival amongst the few found in the World.

Although he is known by many other attributes, Ganesha's elephant head makes him easy to identify. Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and more generally as Lord of Beginnings and Lord of Obstacles (Vighnesha, Vighneshvara), patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom. He is honoured at the beginning of rituals and ceremonies and invoked as Patron of Letters during writing sessions. Several texts relate mythological anecdotes associated with his birth and exploits and explain his distinct iconography.

That brings about the bookish meaning of Ganesh. Lets look at a more detailed vision about the Festival and also about the Ardent Followers of the Lord.

The incident places way to new levels of water pollution and the related effect to the Arctic and the Pacific Food Cycle which in turn affects the Asiatic Eco-cycle. Sounds too zoological...?? Let me explain, The more the Idols, the more the pollution .i.e. more the calcium, magnesium, molybdenum and silicon concentrations increased significantly, More dust due to Plaster.Of.Paris and many other pollutants, killing the Water inhibitants leading to disturbance of Eco-Cycle. Just Mumbai’s sea takes in about 1.5 lakh (1 lakh = 100,000) idols every year! Is it any wonder then then oxygen levels in the water bodies fall by about 50 per cent immediately after the 10-day Ganeshutsav festival?Refer The Links for more references!

An amazing excerpt statement by the on-looker statement: As I continued my search in the streets of Pune, I came across many idols-made of materials as varied as PoP, Silver, Tin Foil and Thermocol, but not the green Ganesha. That’s what I was looking for..an idol made of clay and a pandal that used eco-friendly materials…I must have walked for at least 20 km, clicking hundreds of pix on the way. I could not find a single idol made of clay, nor a pandal which didn’t use the papi materials – PoP and Thermocol.

The option before the onlookers and the government is nothing but to control the traffic at most of the times and try to save dying people and children if at all in the same polluted water during the immersion. The fact remains that at this point as the blog rightfully states “we need a law and not necessarily wisdom or self-understanding” ‘cause trust me, we don’t have either and we still expect the Lord of Wisdom and Remover of Obstacles to help us get the brains to have some of those as well.

Bengaluru, Here I come

After a much awaited status on Bench today, I finally received a call from the HRs stating but another tragic heart cutting order.; Transfer to Bengaluru. Not that I got bad reviews about the City or that I Feel about it that way, but its more of a feeling of belonging to Mumbai that makes me homesick for being away from the City itself. And more over a state where I would want to mess up with the Kannad population (knowing none for my own usage for that matter!! ☻)

But none the less the IT City proves to be a vast resource of opportunities for those who want to launder and extract a lot of IT related service Activity; it provides a major source of company power and IT recruitment head quarters and centres for people to compete and prove the nation as a whole. I bet, I am lucky to be a small drop of such a large ocean after all. Bengaluru, Here I March!!!!!!!

Seven good reasons to switch to Windows 7 - CNN.com

The very reason to buy (or Download) Windows-7- This better be good. Cause after the recent up gradation to Windows XP with so many internal glitches that the OS provides, we hope that the new generation of OS 7 provides an ultimate satisfaction to the Users (Genuine and Pirated) to work towards the appreciation of Microsoft’s' great Work!!!
With the helluva situation of Hot fixes and so many service packs and yet a consistent disintegration of XP to certain about of instability in the system by its presence, Microsoft still claims the resemblance as much similar of Windows 7 to Windows XP. The cliché is that how will the resolutions for the far pending issues that were once evolved with XP be cleared with that of Windows 7. Even with the Build in Windows for XP Patch or whatever the name calls for, What do they expect to do with the applications which still would render the system unstable even if it is run in that window which helps execute the Windows XP compatible Program (Which are anyway not compatible)
Except for the recent version clearance of Internet Explorer 8 which could clear the Air of impatience caused by the inconsistent and unpredictable hang-outs of IE 7 and closure of the entire Explorer, this is still by far considerable enough to be thought of as bringing the revolution in the XP zone of users. But to what extent? I guess Apple is not Far away on a Cliff planning for Salvation... And Linux-based systems are made pretty pro-like once the Kernel in question (copyrighted/ subjectively unavailable for Microsoft), how would one even bother to make a change in the system in case of a major setback. This seems highly negative. But looking at the current Massive data outrage and outage that is evitable enough from the information available on source charts, it’s expected that the system remains in existence till everything from 1 to infinity is backed up. What does Microsoft do to propose a solution for this?

Either ways the characteristics described are not that bad and can assure you at least a reasonably better experience than XP. And Either way, who doesn't like a new piece of OS, just like any other new Girl Friend, with better looks and high interfacing attributes to work faster with the new age. Consistency is the whole name of the Game after all!!!!

A Little Sigh of Relief

After a huge delay of day filled with grief and solemn woes on-work, I today realized that ‘Good Begets Good’- My Friend formally announced me on phone for my shift over from one project to another. My thought process of being on bench for a long time, specifically killing time and wasting the knowledge of the ‘Black System’- Mainframes gained over the past six months was grueling enough to subdue my feelings towards the Technology and in effect stop learning the same anymore.
It’s a kind of happy feeling mixed with sad knowing that the Past has not been that great in terms of the work and cost involved with the project where I worked. But none the less, this is a new experience and as such I am ready to get re involved in the same and prove to my bestest potential as to what I am and thereby prove the prior people wrong in their thoughts and impressions about me. Although, right now, there are still hustles going on in the Prime IT Market and as such nothing is unpredictable, the company still gives hopes and most importantly a trust and a chance to every committed employee to honor it and make the best of it. Truly, Is it not just that what everyone needs ? Hope and Trust to Survive and Relive!!! I think that’s what Life is all about after all.

Swine FLU- the unnecessary candidate for the Hitlist of Famous Diseases

SWINE FLU hitted India around the 3rd of August with the first case being administered in and around Pune and the Hit areas of commercial crowd business centres.

Four months after the first outbreak of swine flu, India is discovering how deadly this virus can be. The country's first swine flu death, that of a 14-year-old schoolgirl on Aug. 3, followed by seven more patients succumbing to the disease in the span of a week, has set off a panic attack that is spreading faster than the virus itself. Pune, in Western India, with a population of nearly 4 million, has become the epicenter of the disease for India. Five of the eight victims, including a doctor and a chemist, were residents of this city that is home to automakers Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto, both of which have major factories on its outskirts. In a nutshell, the disease has set off a panic attack that is spreading faster than the virus itself.

Because swine flu is a new virus, no one in the world had immunity to it when it came on the scene earlier this year, so it is spreading quickly. Fortunately it has proved a relatively mild flu for most people. The question that arises to me here is- Is this the same Media that cannot print a single page of News when there is an consistent outbreak of Typhoid, Cholera or any other lethal epidemic that kills around more than just 1% (more than what a Swine Flu epidemic kills in a certain case) Note: “it appears that for every 1000 people who get infected, about 40 people need admission to hospital and about one person dies”

Atleast I did not see any; to add to that, much more than what can be done to prevent the overall health structure of the State/Country, the Papers and News constantly keep on showing the Reactive Measures being constantly taken by the government. So what if there is an extra screening centre built up!!! Does it really feed the purpose. People who come there are ordered to mask themselves up and evne those who might not be remotely contracting the disease might fall prey to it in such a !!Sanitised!! Lab… Where is the infrastructure ?

Not that I do not wish to appreciate the work being done by the Private Labs and the Government in such a case of emergency, but what about the low lying areas where there are other issues related to Natural Phenomenon and other Pandemics and epidemics which kills thousands everyday without even the notice of a single reporter in site to note and write about that. Where is the WHO when such a tragedy happens. Or should I put it more boldly that since it happened it USA and was brought over by someone out here in India (giving USA the benefit of Importance and Privileged) Its in the News!!! Or so is it ?

And the recently built trend of Masks and other equipment sell in the country is even more ridiculous than what could normally meet the eye. A Rs. 1 Mask costs around Rs.20 and that too only for a special screening purpose. Well here is the Data from some really meaningful epidemiologist who state that Swine Flu is nothing but a Waste of Energy in fooling someone about the Hype of implication of the Disease:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Excerpt------------------------------------------------
My dear President,

I agree with you that swine flu awareness is needed, but there is no need to be panicky and join the publicity propaganda carried out by media and others which acts as a vehicle to spread misconception than to spread scientific information.

These are few facts about swine flu when discussed with the leading epidemiologists.

1) Swine flu, that is H1N1 flu is not new, first detected in 1987
2) Infective stage of flue is 5 days, 1 day before and 4 days after onset of symptoms
3) The best way to prevent it spreading is asking patient having symptoms of flu like fever cough and running nose to take rest at home for 4 days so he does not transmit it
4) Masks are of limited value if any, in this disease, it can spread through droplets on your skin, through contact etc, and I have seen that the masks in Pune are worn as fashion statement, while walking on road today morning I saw people wearing masks coming out for a morning walk with their dogs!, many wearing masks around their necks, and so on, infact these masks shall act as the vehicles to carry the virus, instead, avoiding crowded places or cinema halls or malls where air conditioners are on, is advisable, because you get recalculated air, where the virus density multiplies
5)Death after H1N1 flu is not common, infect infections like measles is taking toll of thousands more every year, and we are oblivious of the facts. Swine flu is being blown out of proportion by media trying to create hysteria among lay people.
6) Fever accompanied by respiratory distress, should be immediately notified which is likely to be a complication of H1N1 flu
7)The mortality is less than .01 percent of those affected, that means may be one in 10,000 affected is likely to suffer the life loss.
8) If you remember, 2 years ago SARS was blown out of proportion, what happened? Humans develop immunity to the virus, the same is going to happen, we develop immunity in due course of time, the virus is in the air, you can not stop it, our body is already developing the immunity so nothing to panic.
We need to take care of children and elderly who have less immunity and do not let them go to crowded places that are all.

WE MUST START THIS CAMPAIGN OF NOT TO BE AFRAID OF THIS FLU AND LET YOUR DAILY WORK CONTINUE AS NORMAL, NO MASKS FOR ORDINARY CITIZENS, HEALTH CARE WORKERS OR SPECIFIC EXPOSED TO LOT OF CROWDED ENVIRONMENTS MAY BE BENEFITTED, NOT PROVEN.

I am amazed to hear that people are selling masks of RS 20 each which are available to less than Rupee 1 in the market.
See who is getting benefitted?

Please spread the scientific info, do not join the band wagon and stick to science, that should be the order of the day.

Why do Lawyers tend to charge more than what is possibly the limit for Bribery as well?

It is pretty much evident that money rules over everything in a world where democracy demands that the majority out rule the minority and the Stupid 51% outruns the 49% idiots. But not always does this establish mere interaction of people but the savage of money that demands almost each and every step needed to run a campaign (for election) or politics (for votes). But once formed, the strata of Government is not very different either; the only difference: the common Public is molested publicly, and that too by the same Public in the various Government Zones, by those who know the loopholes of the Government and are at the Higher level of Information Asymmetry.

Lawyers (specifically the subject matter of discussion) are no different from those establishing themselves under the name of the so called “Stupidly” built Government by the ‘Common Man’. A single Domicile can cost me around two-three thousand; a mere certificate that I need to prove that I was born and raised in that part of the town in the state in the country where I now stay..Just so I can possibly live there later on as well without any kind of interference from any law abiding in the State/Country. The latest trend in the state follows like a the maximum degree of Law that you hold cannot reestablish the fact that you still have to run behind every other person who walks in the Court Area to ask him as a Customer willing to sign in for some stupid Notary, or maybe just a normal case which would not even take a few hours to settle and sent him( The victim) on a long mission (Longer than what even the Culprit couldn’t imagine) for settling the case, only to mint the money out of the victim’s pocket for his own selfish gains. But, the lawyer is not the only one to be blamed here, but the Government as a whole which can never ever in its 62 years of independence after the British left the country with ample of statistics that could help a 100 billion worth entity nation to be in the G9 status, still tormenting with the stupid infrastructure issues in the country, a nation which by far can top itself only in the charts where negative infiltrations can be filled itself; a nation which solicits itself only on the basis of its culture and traditions ( Worthlessly based on a Foundation of old-age superstitions) and a Nation which no longer feels afraid of losing its value globally for the augments of extreme poverty or lack of nutrition in the Country. Why then are we specifically talking only about Lawyers but not the Country in its own?

Take the statistics of the court: “The number of cases pending in these courts has increased from 4.96 lacs in 2007 to 6.07 lacs in 2008 - a difference of 1.11 lacs. This, despite the fact that the case disposal rates of all the judges has increased from 1.8 lacs in 2004 to 2.6 lacs in 2008”. Despite all efforts, the wheels of justice continue to grind slowly in the city's 55 metropolitan magistrate courts, the four small causes and the two juvenile courts. Most of the Lawyers here tend to only find a way of filling in their pockets and try to push forth the Dates of the Minimum demanding time-based cases to a large extent leading a way in for pocketing even more for the lost time interval, merely stating their own efforts in the same. And most of the cases are really small and baseless cases which can be taken care of within a day or two. The overall statistics above only show the nature and corrupt status of the Court Structure built from inside and pose a new question to the Junta outside- Is this what we pay for choosing a Government Body which can’t even provide us with a newer way and rules to simply make things faster and simpler, lest making them even more complicated?”

Happy Friendship's Day Fellahs

“A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked.”

Well this is to all those people who have at some point of time in their life wondered if I was tolerable and acceptable enough to be in the proximal distance of Friend Circle, and have given in their best, no doubt, support and collaboration to me in the times when I was mentally, virtually and practically at loggerheads with my life.

This gives me an opportunity to thank the very important people in my life : Deepak, Prakash, Aditya, Koru, Sagar, Kunal, Salil, Rohan, Dipsi, Paro, Aruni, Ojus, Sarvesh, Siddhartha, Praveer, Pooja, Swati, Divya. There are many to iterate and hence a part from each meaningfully describes how much you all within those commas and hidden between those names mean to me.

And As I believe
"Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure", I believe there is nothing more contented to be with such a mass of pearls, priceless and pure which I have found in my life To all those Friends who have been with me and enliven my life.. Fellahs: Día del Amigo

Car Totaled..!!!

Just yesterday on our way to meet our Closest friend Parvathy (PFMI 2008 and Miss Universe), Life could not have been more critical... My friend’s car (I was indeed in it!!!!) Crashed into a Maruti Swift... And I wonder –“what was Maruti thinking, when it made that car!!”

Damn... Not a single scratch in the Bumper... on the other hand... My Friend (Deepak)'s car was totaled in and out... the front bumper jacked in and the Lights were all but okay... And now it seems the Insurance claims are filling in for the mess caused. Many times people berate the accidents as being caused by major amount of reasons leading to the ultimate outcome as "Faulty Driving by the Driver..." I would want to know "How and when are we to judge that the Driving was Faulty... "

Although it sounds a cliché to write about something that is a minor case of reasoning something that can be positive about the driver’s perception of driving the vehicle, it should none the less be not forgotten, that finally, it’s the driver in the end who is responsible, be it for the totaled car or the minted one that was just saved. (Not to mention the Cops intervene if there is one at all!!!)In the Former case though, The culprit ran away after screeching the brakes to a sudden stop and rendered repairs for my friend, the other fellow whose back bumper was hit merely mocked the Rascal who was the major in all this. Ultimately the issue being resolved with the lives being safe and sound is the motto of the Road, but unfortunately, this is not something that everyone understands.
